Lucy Alexis Liu

She was born on 2 December 1968, Queens, New York, USA. She graduated from Stuyvesant High School in 1986 and enrolled in New York University and later on transfered to Michigan University due to discouragement by dark and sarcastic atmospher of NYU. During her senior year, Liu auditioned for a small part in a production of Alice in Wonderland and walked away with the lead; encouraged by the experience, she decided to take the plunge into professional acting. She moved to Los Angeles and split her time between auditions and food service day jobs, eventually scoring a guest appearance as a waitress on “Beverly Hills, 90210″ (1990). That performance led to more walk-on parts in shows like “NYPD Blue” (1993), “ER” (1994), and “The X Files” (1993). In 1996, she was cast as an ambitious college student on Rhea Perlman’s ephemeral sitcom “Pearl” (1996).

Yu Nan

She was born in 1978 in China. She graduated from the Beijing Film Academy. Being a good performer she was discover by a french film producers who cast her in Karin Dridi’s Fureur. She became the starred of “The Stry of Ermel” as her second collaboration with Wang Quan An which make her as Best Actress Awardee at Paris Film Festival.

Chen Hao

She was born on December 09, 1979 at Qingdao, Shangdong. She loves to travel and she speaks mandarin. She was noticed during the first award winning movie “Postman in the Mountains” year 1998. She was starred in the TV Drama “Li Wei Dang Guan”. She is also a singer and even performed in the stage. In 2005 she released her first solo album with the help of Japanese producer Tetsuya Komuro.

Fiona Hoi-Kei Sit

She was born August 11, 1981 in Hong Kong. She was a cantopop singer in Hong Kong and she entered the singing industry through her uncle’s connection with “Warner Music Group”, Hong Kong. Fiona Sit Hoi Kei started featuring in commercial advertisement in 2002, and later was introduced to Warner Music by her influential uncle. She is the only child who attended Island School. On 7 January 2005, Warner Music released a single named 886.

Michelle Yeoh

Born as Yang Zi Chong in the mining town of Ipoh in West Malaysia year of the Tiger, she spoke English and Malay before Chinese. A ballet dancer since age 4, she moved to London, England to study at the Royal Academy as a teenager. After a brief dance career, she won the Miss Malaysia beauty pageant title in her native country and the Miss Moomba beauty pageant title in Melbourne, Australia in the early 1980s. Her first on camera work was a 1984 commercial with martial arts star Jackie Chan. In 1985, she began making action movies with D&B Films of Hong Kong. She was first billed as Michelle Khan, then later, Michelle Yeoh. Never a trained martial artist, she relied on her dance discipline and her on-set trainers to prepare for her martial arts action scenes.

Zhang Ziyi

Zhang Ziyi was born the 9th of February 1979, in Beijing, China. she spent years training in traditional Chinese folk dance, first in elementary school at the Xuanwu District Children’s Palace, and later at the prestigious Beijing Dance Academy. She also enrolled in the Central Academy Drama in Beijing, where she recieved a dramatic training.

Maggie Cheung

she was born on September 20, 1964 in Hong Kong. At the age of 8, her family moved to England, where she began her education. She frequently talked about feeling odd, as she was the only Asian student on the premises. But after finishing her secondary education, she went back to Hong Kong, only to find out that she couldn’t understand the language spoken, continuing her strange feeling of alienation. In a very short while, she began shooting TV ads and did some modeling. Maggie’s big break came with her participation in the Miss Hong Kong Pageant in 1983. Her success in the contest would make her a potential candidate for the Miss World Pageant of the same year.
